The New Milford Borough Council adopted the original zoning ordinance on November 3, 1988. The zoning ordinance has since been updated and the new version was adopted on April 18, 2019. The New Milford Borough Council also adopted a Comprehensive Plan on October 4, 1979. The Comprehensive Plan was revised on September 1, 2016.
